Administrative Assistant/Cashier
The City of Anoka is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Cashier. This is a part-time
job-share position, approximately 20 hrs. per week in our Finance Department. Typical hours M-F 12:15 pm – 4:30 pm. Primary responsibilities include: general customer service and collection of utility payments. Answer phones, assist in-person customers. Prepare and maintain parking permit system. Enter daily cash receipts. Prepare spreadsheets, prepare and maintain A/R records. Record payments. Assist with other clerical duties as needed.
Prerequisites: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have one (1) year experience using a multi-line phone system and one (1) year general office experience with public contact, keyboarding and 10-key operation. Experience in both areas must have occurred within the past two (2) years. Experience working with office equipment and general computing skills; experience and ability to work with Microsoft Office programs and specialty software programs.
Wage range: $23.95/hr. to $29.94/hr. Starting wage DOQ.
