CANNABIS DISPENSARY MANAGER, FULL-TIME
The City of Anoka is accepting applications for a Cannabis Dispensary Manager to operate the City Municipal Cannabis Dispensary. This position will start as a Part-time position, working approximately 10-15 hours per week until September 8, 2025 when the position will move to Full-time status and become benefit earning eligible. The position will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily operations of the City’s cannabis dispensary/store.
The position will manage the operation of the municipal cannabis dispensary/store including operations, sales, physical plant, and personnel. Perform inventory management functions. Perform retail operation. Hire, train, and educate customer service staff, sales staff. Plan and order merchandise so as to maintain a balanced stock and product layout. Coordinate monthly ads. Maintain stores Facebook page. Select and proof items for online advertising. Responsible for product placements, case displays, and security of product according to internal policies and State regulatory laws.
Qualifications required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Ganjier Product Specialist Certification, or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hiring. Three (3) years employment experience operating a retail store that sells cannabis related products. Two (2) years direct supervisory experience of three or more employees. Knowledge and experience in promoting and selling cannabis products. Valid and unrestricted Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.
Salary Range: $39.91/hr – $49.89/hr. DOQ. This is a Non-Union, Benefit earning position.
