PATROL OFFICER – LATERAL or NEW ENTRY, FULL TIME
The Anoka Police Department is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Patrol Officer. Qualifications required: must be full-time P.O.S.T. Board license eligible by hire date or
June 9, 2025, minimum of 2-yr Associate of Arts or Associate of Science Degree, Military and/or out-of-state experience with completion of P.O.S.T. Board reciprocity exam, possess a valid, unrestricted MN Driver’s License, no prior adverse criminal record or police contact, ability to communicate clearly and effectively, especially under stressful situations. Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays on short notice.
Starting wage: $40.83/hour, condensed longevity steps, and allow officer to reach full earning potential in 6 years at $53.03/hour ($84,930.15 – $110,298.89 annually). LATERAL applicants will be compensated at equivalent years of service pay based on current union contract rate.
