PART-TIME COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER I

Seeking applicant(s) for Part-time Community Service Officer(s) I (CSO I) for the Anoka Police Department. Openings available on all shifts.

Duties include: Patrol in squad car or on foot, prepare reports, respond to distress/emergency calls, administer first aid, investigate incidents, and animal and city ordinance calls for service and assist sworn Peace Officers when needed. Other CSO type duties with emphasis on Community Oriented issues.

Requires: High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum 18 yrs. of age.  Valid Minnesota Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record. No prior criminal record or history. Experience dealing with the public.  Good communication skills.  Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and on short-notice.

STARTING WAGE:  $18.85/hr. with 6 month increases based on performance, up to $21.42/hr.
