Bias: We All Have It. Now What?
Our biases can actually limit our ability to attract great talent and reach new clients. On January 12th, the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding a workshop via ZOOM for members of the Chamber. During this interactive workshop, we’ll examine the concept of bias by exploring what it is and the many implications it can have on the health of your business.
Chris Jones, CEO and Co-Founder of Spectra Diversity, will help us understand what bias is, what all the talk about diversity and inclusion is really about, and why it’s important. She’ll also lead us through an exercise that will give attendees an initial look at what biases they may unknowingly be holding. She’ll also provide tips for being more culturally aware and ways to improve your inclusion skills.
