SENIOR VAN DRIVER, PART-TIME

Friendly and personable individual needed to drive a small 14 passenger bus and escort fun loving senior citizens on various planned day trips around the metro area. Must enjoy going on outings such as theater, gardens, apple orchards, boat trips, etc. and not afraid to drive at night, in the metro area or on the freeways. Must be a take charge person since you will be responsible for the group while on a day trip. Occasionally you may be asked to fill in at the Senior Center and your duties would include but not be limited to opening the building in the morning, making coffee and helping serve lunch, taking seniors grocery shopping, picking up and dropping off seniors coming in for lunch, delivering lunches to home-bound seniors. Estimated hours 10-15/week (summer) 5-10/week (winter).  Requires ability to provide efficient, positive customer service and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without special accommodations. Wage: $14.10/hr with 6 month increases based on performance up to $17.60/hr (DOQ).
