Looking for a friendly and personable individual, needed to drive a small 14 passenger bus and escort fun loving senior citizens on various planned day trips around the metro area. You must enjoy going on outings such as theater, gardens, apple orchards, boat trips, etc. and not to be afraid to drive at night, in the metro area or on the freeway. Looking for a take charge person since you will be responsible for the group while on a day trip. Occasionally you may be asked to fill in at the Senior Center, and your duties would include but are not limited to opening the building in the morning, making coffee and helping serve lunch, taking seniors grocery shopping, picking up and dropping off seniors coming in for lunch, delivering lunches to home-bound seniors. Estimated hours 10-15/week (summer) and 5-10/week (winter).  It requires the ability to provide efficient, positive customer service and the ability to lift 50 pounds with or without special accommodation. Must have a valid MN Driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Wage: $15.46/hr. with 6-month increases based on performance up to $19.32/hr. DOQ. This is a non-benefit earning position.
