December Member Luncheon is our Annual Toys for Joy Event!

It has been an Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce tradition to host a special December Membership Luncheon in support of the Toys for Joy campaign.

Cody Matz, the morning weather guy at FOX 9 TV, will be the guest speaker. Cody is a meteorologist at Fox 9 here in the Twin Cities. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in broadcast meteorology and a minor in Communications and mathematics. He is a proud member and seal holder of the National Weather Association. He started his career in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he spent 5 years, first as the morning meteorologist and then as the chief. He moved to the Twin Cities and Fox 9 back in 2013 and has been a large presence in the weather department since.

The luncheon will be held on Tuesday, December 13th at Pizza Ranch, 13797 Jay Street NW in Andover. The event will begin with a registration and lunch from 11:00 AM to noon followed by the program from noon to 1 PM.

​The Toys for Joy program, which the Chamber has supported from its beginning, helps those in need in our area with gifts and food for the holidays. The Chamber is asking all those who attend this luncheon to bring an unwrapped gift or monetary donation for the Toys for Joy program.
